Mapping and re-mapping parcels throughout Kenton County is an ongoing process. Splits (new parcels) and combinations continue to occur on an almost daily basis.
The Kenton County Property Valuation Administrator's GIS department has recently finished re-mapping the county using coordinate geometry. Our unending mission is to accurately reproduce the geometric shapes of all property per legal document descriptions.
The GIS Department has also recently completed the major undertaking of geo-referencing all subdivision plats to the parcel layer. These plats provide a visual of extremely pertinant information in the fair market assessment of property and are extremely valuable tools to other outside entities.
